A Tip for Using Rotators on Traffic Exchanges
If you have a rotator among your urls in your traffic exchange account, make sure to assign proportionately more credits to the rotator than to a normal url.
A rotator is a url that has the ability to show different sites when it is put into the address bar of your browser. So every time someone goes to that url, a different site can show up. You control which and how many sites can be shown by the rotator url.
So why assign more credits to a rotator url?
At most exchanges, one credit gets you one view. When you assign one credit to a regular url, you get one showing of that url. Since there is the only one site that the url that will show, you have achieved the goal of getting your site seen.
Now, if you have two urls programmed into a rotator, and you assign one credit to that rotator url, only one of your sites will get shown. The other url hasn’t been seen yet, but now you are out of credits on the rotator. The other site won’t be seen unless more credits are assigned to the rotator url.
Just something for you to consider when managing your traffic exchange accounts.
