Is Paid Or Free Marketing The Best Way To Create More Website Traffic?
If you are looking to create more website traffic for your business the obvious solution is to turn to marketing. While there are numerous ways you can promote your business, it can be difficult to determine which the best method is. One of the most frequently asked questions is whether paid marketing or free marketing is best.
What you will find is that both types of marketing have benefits and downfalls. The truth is everyone has success with a different kind of marketing. In order to create more website traffic you need to find what works best for you and your business.
With that said, there are pros and cons to both paid and free marketing. While paid marketing does cost money, it can produce immediate results. Instead of waiting to climb up the search engines, you can instantly get an ad anywhere you want it for the right price. If you have the money this can be the best route for a new business.
Outside of having to pay for the marketing, one downside to paid marketing is that it does not always allow you to interact and get to know your prospects. Free marketing methods like forums, social sites, and using traffic exchanges to build your list allow you to socialize and communicate as you create more website traffic. You get to bond with people and let them know who you really are.
Paid and free marketing both have perks and downsides you need to be aware of. However, if you want to create more website traffic you may need to do some trial and error to find what works best for you.

One of the best forms of advertising is free: word of mouth. That could go either way; it could be recommendations for your program or product or complaints against it. That is why customer service is so important.

Hi Ray,
My business partner and I have built a 5 figure business off of only free traffic methods – we actually prefer no-cost traffic to paid traffic getting!
