Hi Ray,
Excellent article. Reminds me of the quote about, Lies, damned lies and statistics., but I always forget how quotes go exactly. It just means that they can be used to mean whatever people want depending on which they use.

I love traffic exchanges. They are a fun, entertaining way of advertising. Also, most of the owners are wonderful people. They are always open, can reach from the comfort of my own home and enable me to feed my addiction to winning with all of the prizes on offer. Still trying to bag that elusive laptop.

Oh, and they help me to build my downlines!!!

Thanks.

Hi Ray,

Loved the rant and agree with you completely. I've been using traffic exchanges for a while now and have had positive results for the most part. Taking the time to fill in downline builders and set up your ads is crucial, as is understanding how traffic exchanges work. I have had some referrals surf a few sites and then they're never seen again, and I wonder why they signed up in the first place.

I track all my ads, which is very important if you want to see which exchanges are working for you.
Happily, S4T has a very responsive membership and is definitely in my "must surf" list!

Thanks for all you do for your members.

Great post Ray :) I think it just comes back to the current attitudes of modern society today. Most people are genuinely lazy and have no real concept of working towards a goal over time. They expect things to happen NOW with a minimum of fuss and effort. The other things that probably contributes to this is all those ads you see in TE's telling you that you can make $10000 a week just sitting there with out actually doing anything. Maybe TE's are partially responsible for this attitude by letting those ads run??? Just my thoughts.

Cheers

Hi, I learned to know realhits4you as a really clever website: every 50 or 100 or even more clicks, the credit amount is being raised from basically 4 points up to 5 pts. Every 20 to 140 clicks, a inbetween website grants additional 5, 10, 15 up to 75 credits to my account.
THAT is GOOD ADVERTISING, it holds people close to this website...
Just think about it, eagles....

The thing with traffic exchanges compared to most other forms of advertising such as SEO, List Building, PPC, Blog Commenting, Back linking, Bookmarking is you see results right away. After setting it up and doing it you can expect targeted traffic and traffic that converts and is active on your page.

With traffic exchanges however its a whole new mind set and its why those people say they do not work. You really need to understand how a traffic exchange works to benefit from it. They do work its just a different game many are not used to playing. It's not a quick set up and start getting paid type system. It's a long drawn out process's but one that does work.

I think these people who say that traffic exchange do not work just do not know the basics to learn how they do work and can benefit them.
