Keeping up with the blog, posting news, writing The Talon, all very simple things to do, but only when
you have access to the Internet. My apologies for not keeping you posted as much as usual but maybe
we are past all that and moving forward even faster now.
Thanks to all of you for keeping the Eagles Soaring as usual. We truly do have the very best traffic
exchange members on this planet. You are AWESOME!
We also missed awarding the click accuracy contest winner credits on Monday as was planned. Did
get the awards done a couple of days ago, and will be back on schedule this Monday. Not sure what
I'm talking about? See below for info on our weekly ongoing contest.
Simple rules, surf a minimum of 300 sites per week beginning each Monday evening and be one of the top 5 with the fewest mistakes clicking the correct Eagle image. 100 bonus credits rewarded to the top 5. But there's more. Surf 500 sites, be in the top 5, reward jumps to 200 bonus credits.

One thing I did notice this last week was the lack of credits being assigned to your sites. We really
should check this often, make sure to assign, get your sites seen. Activity has been so good your
sites could be running out of credits faster than you thought.
If you start running low on credits to assign, just surf for about 30 minutes or so every day to keep a
steady supply flowing to your sites. Be sure to look for and grab the bonus credits as they appear.
Don't forget that completing a word adds even more bonus credits.
Hope everyone was able to take advantage of the increased surf ratios for the last 24 hours. If we can
keep activity on the upward trend, we just might do that more often. Stay tuned to the blog, will let
you know of any specials or awards. :)

Above all else... don't forget we have plenty of tools for you to use on our "Promote" page in the members area. Just click that link on the main menu once your logged in. Don't forget the PeelAway Ads you can place on any site you own.
Another great tool is the Surf Console. If you're not using it to manage your surfing, then you're just guessing. The surf center keeps track of the last date and time you surfed. As Soaring4Traffic members you are the only people on earth to have access to this awesome surf management tool. |

Your Website as a Time Management Tool
By: Janet Barclay
It is no secret that a website is an important marketing tool. Even small businesses who only serve local customers are increasingly finding a home on the Internet. But did you know your website can also be a time management tool? Let’s look at a few ways that your website can help you save valuable time.
Unlike a printed flyer or brochure, there is no limit to the amount of information you can include on your website. As long as it is well-written and easy-to-navigate, your website can answer the questions asked by your typical client, facilitating more efficient communication. By educating prospective clients about your services before they call you or send you an email, by the time they contact you, they are already on their way to doing business with you. As a result, you’ll spend less time repeating the same information day after day, and you’ll be able to move the sales process along more quickly.
A popular method of displaying this type of information is to set up a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page. Website visitors appreciate this format because it allows them to go straight to the questions they have in mind and find the answers quickly and easily. You can even refer clients and prospects to specific FAQ’s on your website.
To get started, make a list of the questions you are often asked about your services, then write a brief answer for each one. If it is difficult to answer some questions concisely, consider splitting them into two or more questions. To allow your website visitors to locate the information they need quickly and easily, it is recommended that you list all of the questions at the top of the FAQ page with links to the answers lower down the page as seen on the Firefox FAQ page, or on separate pages, as seen on author Kathy Stinson’s FAQ page.
You can also streamline your sales process with the use of a contact form on your website that includes questions such as “Where did you hear about us?” as well as any information you will require before you can provide a quote.
You may wish to have your flyers, brochures, or other materials available as downloads in PDF format. This will not only be a benefit to your website visitors, but will allow you to print out any items you may occasionally need when you are away from your office.
Depending on your clients’ comfort level with technology, and on the nature of your business, you may benefit from the use of an online appointment scheduler, or a section of your website where clients can log in to check the status of their account or their projects.
You already have a website - why not use it to its full advantage, and save time for both you and your clients? The less time you spend on routine communication, the more you can focus on service delivery and developing business relationships.

With everything that has happened, we of course have not had the time to properly review any new
programs. Without thoroughly testing or reviewing any program properly, we would surely not recommend
or give an opinion.
With that said, this coming week should provide more time for some real work. :)
Frankly, at a glance with the time I've had this week, haven't really seen anything new that made me
want to spend time researching. More on that later.
